Cleans up beaches Rooi Els Beach and all over Cape Town SA, for decades

ADB had a theory about Rooi Els beach, after watching the tide line for many years - that it seemed to pull trash in from all of False Bay. A lot of it just kept washing back in and out with the tide. He figured that by picking up what was washing in, he would lessen what was ending up on the beach every day and his labour proved his theory right - it did lessen but since people keep littering, it does still keep washing up.

He owned a plastics factory in Cape Town, ""Tuffy"" and one of the things they made was garbage bags, using recycled plastic and he became a passionate advocate for picking up litter - he would donate free trash bags to anyone who wanted to clean up a street, beach or neighborhood."
