Sutro Baths, Point Lobos
The Sutro Baths was a public saltwater swimming pool complex built overlooking the Pacific at Lands End in the late 1800s. A train took San Franciscans over the dunes to spend the day, can you imagine! The building burnt down in 1966 leaving the ruins that fill with sea water as the tide comes in, to this day.
